As the Digital Marketing Specialist, you will develop digital strategies and manage the execution of all online and social content, paid media, SEO and CRM strategies.

  • Skilled in developing strong online presence through social and digital marketing tactics that result in attracting high numbers of followers through social media channels
  • Develop strategies to increase online visibility, performance and conversion by achieving high-ranking placements in search results
  • Create and monitor performance of sponsored online ads
  • Create and update online copy and images for multiple websites
  • Design, write and dispatch e-marketing campaigns
  • Analyse and report the performance of all digital marketing activities against business objectives and make recommendations for improvements
  • Recognise trends and insights in the market to make improvements
  • Evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points to ensure optimal customer engagement
  • Research new online media opportunities that may benefit the business including mobile and social media
  • Conduct keyword research
  • Lead social media engagement and brand awareness campaigns
  • Use web analytics software to monitor the performance of client websites and make recommendations for improvement
  • Contribute to company podcasts and e-communications
  • Develop and integrate content marketing strategies
  • Keep up to date with current digital trends
  • Support the team with new business acquisition

You will be responsible for creating compelling visual content across a variety of different media including digital, print and store merchandising. The role offers you the capability to leverage your design talents in an exciting, fun and entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond and interpret design briefs
    Work in collaboration with the wider marketing team
  • Bring creative ideas and originality to the design process and when required, work without a comprehensive design brief to achieve final design
  • Ability to multitask and achieve tight deadlines
  • Create compelling and engaging imagery, including but not limited to e-campaigns, social content, marketing collateral, PR pitches and adverts
  • Creating assets for the company and client’s websites, social media marketing, paid ads and PR activity
  • Producing and editing original video content
  • Producing and editing original photography content

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Experience of working within an agency
    Comprehensive knowledge of digital and print design
    Excellent working knowledge and experience of
  • Adobe Creative Suite and core design tools
    Strong design skills with an impressive portfolio
  • Strong self-discipline and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise your own workload
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Prior exposure to working with video content and/or working alongside videographers

We are on the search for an incredibly ambitious PR Executive with an entrepreneurial spirit to join our team in Newcastle city Centre.

This is an exciting opportunity for those with a passion for telling a good story to join our growing  team.

We’ve got some fantastic projects coming up and are looking to appoint someone who gets excited about securing media coverage, driving brand awareness, working with influencers and creating engaging content that can be used across; traditional media, social media, as well as on Twist’s editorial blog and Podcasts.

The Role:

  • Helping to run daily proactive and reactive media relations with national and consumer titles as well as online media, with a focus on securing coverage and developing relationships externally
  • Being a newshound, constantly seeking out the latest news about our services, colleagues and customers and not being afraid to build relationships with the press to achieve coverage goals
  • Researching, planning, writing and distributing stories across a number of communications channels to generate coverage and engagement
  • Supporting the implementation of the Twist’s wider communications strategy including; PR, content marketing, content creation and organic social media
  • Helping to source and create stories for use on social media on behalf of clients
  • Monitoring comms channels on a daily basis to identify opportunities to promote our client’s brands
  • Collating, analysing and evaluating campaigns
  • Developing strong  relationships with stakeholders
  • Running weekly / monthly team reports and analysing data to inform future planning

Experience and Skills Required:

  • At least two years’ experience in a fast paced journalistic / PR / comms environment gained either in-house or in agency at an account executive level
  • You’ll be a team player that thrives on getting stuck in and working on a variety of projects, be ambitious and have an entrepreneurial spirit
  • You’ll have exceptional writing skills and a nose for a good story
  • Strong media selling-in skills and able to build relationships with journalists
  • A keen interest in news and current affairs
  • Able to create content with panache and clarity that fits our client’s brands
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good organisation skills, creative flair and the confidence to express your ideas
