PR & Marketing Campaign Manager

PR & Marketing Campaign Executive

THE ROLE

You will be responsible for leading and driving forward marketing and media campaigns on behalf of our leisure clients using a timely, organised, planned and accurate structure determined by you.

The role will encompass setting and leading integrated communications campaigns using a broad range of digital and traditional channels appropriate to achieving our client’s priorities. Creativity, imagination and multi-tasking are key to this role, as is responsibility for deadlines, planning, organisation and managing your workload in a timely way.   
Key areas of responsibility will include:

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

  • Developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with your clients to understand their campaign objectives and regularly reporting on performance 
  • Engaging and liaising with clients to understand their briefs and to take the campaign lead with developing and executing those marketing strategies
  • Maintaining and developing brand image and reputation through the press and digital content 
  • Planning and managing marketing resource within agreed budgets 

DIGITAL & SOCIAL

  • Desirable but not essential – Managing all paid promotion and PPC campaigns)
    Generating content plans across all digital platforms, including social and web, in order to drive awareness and engagement
  • Creating and uploading engaging content across online channels including company websites, blogs and social media channels to effectively attract and engage target audiences through proactive communication 
  • Managing and optimising client’s digital resources with a view to continuously improve and increase traffic and conversions if required as part of the client’s brief
  • Analysing and monitoring data related to digital performance and reporting on key KPI’s to shape future plans and digital strategy
  • Developing customer specific content, optimised for the appropriate platform 

PR

  • Developing, implementing and evaluating a media relations strategy and approach, which is presented to and agreed with clients.
    Liaising with key journalists and pitching in relevant stories
  • Quality assuring all press releases and media responses to ensure appropriate tone of voice and that narrative and key messages are communicated appropriately
  • Developing a framework to monitor brand mentions 
  • Nurturing key media relationships and managing requests from media enquiries
  • Making recommendations for and managing the development of new PR opportunities 
  • Identifying social media, blogger and other influencer opportunities for positive PR
  • Seeking opportunities to comment on topical/industry updates for positive publicity 

THE ROLE

You will be responsible for supporting your line manager (PR & Marketing Campaign Manager) with the execution of concurrent marketing and media campaigns.

The role will encompass using a broad range of digital and traditional channels to deliver engaging campaigns that achieve our client’s priorities. Creativity, imagination and multi-tasking are key to this role, as is responsibility for meeting deadlines, being organised and managing your workload in a timely way.  

Key areas of responsibility will include:

ACCOUNT REPORTING

  • Preparing reports and collating press cuttings 
  • Meeting preparation 
  • Undertaking daily marketing activity to develop brand image and reputation through the press and with digital content 
  • Being the first point of contact for all press and media-related enquiries 

DIGITAL & SOCIAL

  • handling day-to-day activity for all paid promotion and PPC campaigns
  • Creating and uploading content that is to be shared across all digital platforms, including social and web
  • Undertaking search optimisation activity  with a view to continuously improve and increase traffic and conversions if required as part of the client’s brief
  • Reporting and monitoring data related to digital performance and KPI’s 

PR

  • Writing and issuing press releases on behalf of clients
  • Following up in media activity
  • Forming and building relationships with relevant influencers and journalists
  • Responding to media enquiries
  • Monitoring press cuttings
  • Making recommendations for and managing the development of new PR opportunities
  • Identifying social media, blogger and other influencer opportunities for positive PR
  • Seeking opportunities to comment on topical/industry updates for positive publicity
